Anya Chandra is a Grade 12 student at Step by Step School, Noida, where she is currently studying English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Economics. Anya is fascinated by economics and finance and can constantly be found reading, researching, and writing to expand her understanding of these disciplines. 

A budding artist and an ardent practitioner of visual arts, she hopes to harness her interests and skills to help envision a safer and better tomorrow – a goal she has been working towards both inside and outside school. 

At SBS, Anya currently serves as the SEVA Coordinator, prior to which she was the Art Coordinator and the President of the SEVA Society’s Prathmik Vidyalaya Initiative, where she teaches science and math through innovative pedagogical methods to students from socioeconomically disadvantaged communities. 

A dedicated young learner who is committed to using her knowledge for the betterment of those around her, especially those who have constantly been overlooked, THEAC is Anya’s step to give back to the community, one that has lent, and will continue to lend, a helping hand to many vibrant, talented, and deserving young learners whose lives are otherwise overshadowed by difficulties out of their control.
